Mux Mool @ Decibel Festival 2010 Pt.1
I've never been to a 'My Bloody Valentine' show but am well aware of their reputation for being one of the loudest bands on earth...something along the lines of being inside of a jet engine. I couldn't help but think of this comparisison last night while watching Mux Mool at Neumo's. The bass was so heavy I'm pretty sure my organs were vibrating. I found this video from the show that barely even lets you understand this but, figured I'd post it anyway.
I hadn't heard of this guy until this evening but being on Ghostly International is automatic points in my book. I would assume that this is what hip hop would sound like on Mars in 2075.

Lusine - Gravity (Decible Festival Prep)
I saw this guy briefly last year during Decibel at the SAM. where everyone was just standing around staring at him. Though his style is very downtempo and pretty, I really wished I could've danced around without looking like a crazy person. At the time I had only heard the track "Two Dots" and have since dug in a bit to know that he's not going anywhere. If you can still get tickets (http://www.dbfestival.com/ghostly-international-label-showcase/ ) to the Ghostly International Showcase tomorrow at Neumo's you're in for a treat.
